You can start out on canoe or motorboat tours from here or make a trip on horseback or on foot. You can explore the tropical rain forest, take a look at El Castillo, an old Spanish fort, or visit the beautiful group of islands of Solentiname where there is also a colony of artists.

The river Rio San Juan is a paradise for anglers. From the hotel terrace itself you can watch the tarpons playing in the river.

Fish and crayfish cuisine are a specialty of our kitchen, well known in the region for its quality national and international dishes. The restaurant also offers meat dishes, of course, and many other delicious preparations.

The heart of the hotel is a large terrace built above the water.

TOUR OF THE BIOLOGICAL RESERVE INDIO MAIZ ........ In addition to the tour of El Castillo, you will spend three hours hiking within the Indio Maíz Nature Reserve with a specialized personal guide	........ COCOA PLANTATION ........ The tour consists of visiting family-run farms which act as a cooperative, growing, processing and exporting cocoa to a famous german Chocolate Factory.
........ HORSEBACK TOUR ........ Explore the beautiful countryside on horseback.	........ TOUR OF EL CASTILLO........ You will spend time strolling the colorful town with its quaint sidewalks and tropical setting.	........ TOUR OF BIRDWATCHING........ When you will attend this tour you have to get up early in the mornig. At 5°°- 6°° am the boat will leave from the pier of the hotel going to the Santa Crucita River

If you are interested in learning how to milk a cow, make tortillas or cuajada (Nicaraguan cheese), you can visit Dolores in her farm where she will teach you these traditional daily practices	........
